Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Mill and the Bridge at the North West Buitensingel Hague by Jacob Maris, 1877.
Jacob Maris was a Dutch painter, who with his brothers Willem and Matthijs belonged to what has come to be known as the Hague School of painters.He was considered to be the most important and influential Dutch landscape painter of the last quarter of the nineteenth century. His first teacher was the painter J.A.B. Stroebel who taught him the art of painting from 1849 to 1852. His most known works are the series of portraits of the royal House of Orange. He is also known for his landscapes like "Ship on the Scheveningen Beach".
