The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

I painted the original watercolor of MILL RACE PARK about thirty years ago. This original watercolor painting, painted on paper, was commissioned by a young man as an anniversary gift for his wife for their first wedding anniversary which is traditionally considered to be the "paper" anniversary. The couple had their wedding photos taken at beautiful Mill Race Park in Cambridge and the reception had been held at the Old Cambridge Mill (in the background) making this their perfect first anniversary gift!

The mill has recently been renovated with many beautiful wings and additions that have kept the old rock and enormous wood beams and added a contemporary touch of glass. It is now host to many weddings and other events as well as being a wonderful restaurant with beautiful scenic views of the Grand River as it flows through Cambridge. Mill Race Park is the perfect spot for wedding photos.
