While sitting along the banks of the Ohio River, a flock of both geese and ducks came looking for treats they apparently are use to getting from us humans. We came prepared and enjoyed a nice evening as the sun was setting with our feathered friends. The goose we believe is a French Toulose Goose. This breed of goose was developed in Haute Garonne, France, where the city of Toulouse is the region's center. They were first exported to England in the 1840s and America in the early 1850s.

About the Artist...Deborah Fay developed her love of photography through nature. Born in Cincinnati Ohio, most of her life was spent living along the California coast. Trips to see the Great Giant Sequoias, the breathtaking Redwood Forests and backpacking as a teenager in the High Sierras fueled her passion for nature and love of wildlife.
