Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The name "Mother Storm" means just what it implies. The kind of storm that blackens the sky as it passes over, turning daylight to near total darkness. The kind that damages land, trees buildings and humans.
Graduating University of Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, I was recruited by hallmark Card Company in Kansas City to work in a special design group, designing products for Hallีs, the company owned exclusive retail outlet. Houston became my next place of employment, working as a graphic designer for approximately five years. Then a client enticed me into self employment opening my own Jim Ellis Design Studio. At the studio, I designed brochures, collateral material, logos for most of at the major oil companies, their suppliers, private companies and whomever had need of graphic design to resolve their particular needs.
