This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

Artist's Description
One of the cool things about the Society Islands in French Polynesian is that most are surrounded by serene lagoons created by the breakwater action of the off shore coral reefs and motus. It's part of what makes looking out to sea so engaging. There's more than simply sea and sky to watch. You'll see the crashing surf breaking across the reef, and also the tropical foliage that has taken root on the motus themselves. I sketched and painted Motu Toopua in Bora Bora from the verandah of our cruise ship after a sunny day of beaching and shopping around Viatape.
About Pat Katz
I am an Appreciative Adventurer - finding joy and beauty everywhere I am and everywhere I go. In art, as in life, I am drawn to express the up side, the sunny side, the inspiring message that life is good. I hope others feel encouraged and heartened for having been in my presence and in the company of my work. With pen or brush in hand, with paints and paper in front of me, I am easily captivated by the moment - and just plain happy! Splash and squiggle is how I work. Ink and watercolor is where I live. Bright light and lyrical lines lift my spirits and make me smile. My best work appears when I'm able to hold a lighthearted, playful spirit. I have taken several watercolor classes from Canadian artist, Cecelia Jurgens, and traveled...
