Artist's Description

This horse with her beautiful eyelashes was photographed in an old 1700's to early 1800's log cabin in Castlewood, Virginia. It is believed that Daniel Boone lived here with his wife Rebecca for two years during the blazing of the "Wilderness Trail." Daniel Boone had originally taken Rebecca with him, but after he realized the dangers of the area, he returned Rebecca to the cabin for two years while he finished blazing the Wilderness Trail. The old cabin has since been dismantled and will be reassembled in the future. An end view of the cabin can also be seen on Wiles' web site and is titled "The Daniel Boone Inn."
