Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.
Artist's Description
My great-grandfather was an amateur photographer in Southington, Connecticut from about 1875 to 1925. When he died most of his negatives got passed along to his son and later to his great-grandson, me. These pictures were taken by EN Walkley from about 1882 to 1889. The scans are from glass plate negatives. The film has an ISO of 5.
