At the end of the road on the north side of Hawaii's island of Kaua'i, the cliffs of the Na Pali coast rise dramatically from the waters of the Pacific ocean. Along this rugged coastline of 3,000-foot cliffs, no roads exist. The only access to this landscape is by sea kayaking the rough currents, or hiking the rugged Kalalau trail.
