Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

When I first decided to upload my paintings to the Internet, I hadn't painted anything new for eight years. The excitement of sharing my work with others and seeing other's work relit my artistic desires and creativity and this lead to some interesting photography experiments. I also, at this time, started to enter a lot of online contests on Fine Art America. In fact I tried to enter them all. I could usually find some piece of work that would fit the requirements of the contest. Sometimes it wasn't so easy. The contest that I created this photograph for, asked for images that showed refracted light through water. It was early spring and far too early for pools and using a bathtub to create something, just seemed too messy. In the end, I came up with an idea that made sure my image would comply. I took photos of reflected images and light in a DVD disc, through a jam jar filled with water. I'm not sure what I ended up capturing here or where the refraction took place. It didn't come a...
I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs.
