Artist's Description
This is a side photograph of the front of the historic landmark, the New York Public Library taken in spring. A foot-wide row of red tulips are in bloom next to the bright green grass. The two sculptures of lions named Patience and Fortitude are on the left and the Beaux Arts railing of the library is on the right.
About Nancy Wilt
Main passions are math, art, traveling, and photography. I worked in finance by day and took an occasional art class at night. I've used pencils, pastels, acrylics, and watercolors. Source images were taken with Canon/Nikon DSLRs and an Android cell phone. Hudson River river towns, Hell's Kitchen, NYC, and Weston, CT are my hangouts. Posting here resulted from requests for copies but I am more interested in showing one positive impact of COVID 2021's social isolation.
