ABOUT DANITA COLE - ENCAUSTIC FINE ART PAINTER: I have lived my life upon the Ocean. I am the daughter of a smuggler and grand daughter of a pirate. I raised both my sons aboard my sailboat and chose to paint instead of piracy...mostly. As a member of the Ocean Artists Society, my work is about the Ocean, but also about helping those who are unable to experience the ocean visually. really nice piece. it really makes one feel their iside the tube. I really like the effects you are getting. I don't know anything about Encaustic wax, but it sure makes this painting look nice.
