Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Artist's Description
This watercolor and India ink painting is titled Ocotillo Dance. The graceful movement of the Ocotillo limbs and the vibrant reddish, orange bloom are beautiful in the Sonoran Deserts of Arizona. Marcia enjoys viewing these graceful plants throughout the year from her windows in her home. Whether they are in bloom or are only wearing their evergreen leaves, the twisting branches are interesting and intriguing to the eye. They are a large shrub with long cane-like unbranched spiny stems that grow from a short trunk. After it rains, or if they are irrigated regularly, small 2 inch leaves grow from the stems. They bloom from March through June. There estimated life expectancy is approximately 60 to 100 years. Ocotillo can grow as tall as 20 feet. An interesting fun fact about the Ocotillo is that because of the spines on the limbs, they are often used for fencing. It assists in stopping people and animals from crossing through the fence. . . . . . . . . . When the artist moved...
About Marcia Weller-Wenbert
I have been drawing, painting, and crafting since I was a child. Living in Oregon where God provided color everywhere you look, along with rainy days to encourage a lot of indoor activites, I spent hours painting and drawing. Now that I have entered the empty-nester stage of life, I am blessed with additional time to focus on art. Over the years I have found that I enjoy creating artwork with a single subject and infused with a lot of color. My style has been described as unique, colorful, and whimsical. Currently I am working with acrylics on canvas, scratch art with India ink, and watercolor. You will find that my more recent work contains several cactus paintings. This is influenced by a move from Oregon to Mesa, Arizona in...
