Artist's Description
The Odeon of Herodes Atticus amphitheater was built around 160 AD. It was destroyed and left in ruins about 100 years later by the invading Heruli who destroyed many buildings. Unlike other structures in the area, it was not rebuilt and deteriorated over the centuries. Reconstruction finally took place in 1952 and it is currently used as a venue for concerts and theatrical presentations.

Beyond the local area, I have traveled throughout California and the western United States, visited far away American destinations such as Chicago, New York, Florida, and Alaska, and international destinations in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. My photography varies from Architecture to Industrial Art to Nature to Wildlife and I'm sure you'll find something suitable for your home or office. Visit my blog
