"Old Appalachian Barn"

... This gorgeous old barn
was captured
along the backroads
of western North Carolina...
The vintage barnwood
is weathered by years
of sun and rain.
The interesting barn
is around 100 years old,
an icon in this rural area.
The big old oak tree
embraces and protects the barn
in this pretty farm scene.
The trees are in full
autumn color, bright oranges,
reds, golds, and yellows.
Fallen leaves are scattered
on the pastures and up
into the hillsides.
This is the Smoky Mountains,
very close to the borders
of north Georgia
and eastern Tennessee.
The Smokies are filled
with these beautiful barns
and old farms..
Drive the back country roads
to discover their beauty!
