Artist's Description
I never pass up those late fall days when the water is as calm as a plate of glass. Those days are rare. I was headed back from a November 4th, 2015 paddle when I saw this painting. I was also late for lunch at 12:25 pm.
This is the view northward into the outlet of Jim day Rapids. Only the red oaks still hung on to their leaves. I used a simplified approach with a lot of paint on a slippery panel. Painting should be fun.
