The Sanford Herald did an article on the story about Sony purchasing the prints after seeing them here on Fine Art America. Below is the link to the article. http://www.sanfordherald.com/pages/full_story/push?article-Painter-s+work+featured+in+film%20&id=5327624-Painter-s+work+featured+in+film

Panhandle Deer can be seen in the recently released Sony Pictures movie, "Did You Hear About the Morgnas". Sony purchased this print and the print, "The Crossing" to be used as part of the set decorations for the cabin scenes in the movie.

Artist's Description

Panhandle Deer was one of two prints purchased by Sony Pictures to be used in the recently released movie, "Did You Hear About the Morgnas" This painting depicts areas of Florida where Whitetail deer thrive, most notably, in the panhandle region. Deer around the southern part of the state are often Key Deer, which are much smaller cousins of the Whitetail. Cleared areas quickly grow up with palmetto bushes which provide excellent cover for deer and other wildlife, as is seen here.

About Timothy Tron

Timothy Tron

Hello, and welcome to my site. I currently work mainly in oils on canvas, but do work in acrylics and some watercolor on various surfaces. I prefer painting a variety of subject matter, from portraits to landscape and wildlife. My studio is in my barn, which I built myself, from rough cut sawmill lumber from a local sawmill. When I'm not painting, then I'm either working on my farm, making music, or spending time with my family. I'm currently working on a several pieces: a mural, a couple of portraits, a religious piece and a landscape. Demands for my personalized name art had picked up over the holidays, so I had began working more on those, and set the other works aside. I work on commission and can be reached at my web site...
