This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Pasteur's Jubilee celebrations. Artwork of British surgeon Joseph Lister (in gown, walking up steps, 1827-1912) and French chemist Louis Pasteur (being approached by Lister, 1822-1895) during the jubilee at the Sorbonne, Paris, France, to mark Pasteur's 70th birthday on 27 December 1892. Pasteur is being supported due to a series of strokes he had had since 1868. Both Lister and Pasteur were revered by their peers and the public (both seen applauding and cheering here) for the work they had done to reduce disease and infection. This artwork, by French painter Jean-Andre Rixens (1846-1925), is held at the Sorbonne, Paris, France.
