This is a posterized digitized image of a flock of pelicans in the Big Sur region of Highway 1 in California. Please click on the image to see the way it looks when seen at full resolution. It lacks much of the detail of a "normal" photograph, but uses slight abstraction and modified colors to achieve an intentionally different look.
