I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Philippine style of cooking and the food associated with it have evolved over several centuries from its Austronesian origins to a mixed cuisine with many Hispanic, Chinese, American, and other Asian influences adapted to indigenous ingredients and the local palate. Dishes range from the very simple, like a meal of fried salted fish and rice, to the elaborate paellas and cocidos created for fiestas. This is one of my earlier works, a rural Philippine kitchen.. Ingredients are laid on the table, fresh garlic still hanging by the window.. The cook may be thinking of a fish dish with coconut milk. Bon apetit!
