Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

About Mike Burns
Born Liverpool in 1950, and returning to painting in oils for the first time this year (2011) after a 35 year leave of absence, I have spent the lion’s share of my career in the world of commercial art/ advertising and more specifically point-of-sale design and manufacture. I feel a sense of liberation in returning once more to paint, and despite some initial fears, I have in fact forgotten little of my past experience in handling the oil medium during the intervening years. I am truly excited by the prospect of rekindling this long lost painting adventure, hoping the years of experience in design, utilizing such resources as screen printing, vector graphics software and the almost infinite availability of images courtesy of digital...
