The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).
All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.
Metal prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant.

Artist's Description
"Pirate Battle"
A ship of the line exchanges fire with a pirate vessel in a thunderstorm of cannon fire and smoke. In this instance, the "fog of war" has taken on a literal sense as the black smoke of cannons and burning decks mixes with an ocean fog bank in choppy seas. The glow given off from the flames of the battle mixes with the late afternoon light give the scene a reddish tint that echoes the intensity of the fight.
I was watching "Black Sails" one night and was inspired to create a ship to ship battle scene. The name of the pirate ship is "Revenge" which is a reference to one of my favorite movies, "The Princess Bride" where that is the name of the ship of the Dread Pirate Roberts.
Most of the time, I create my work to look like traditional paintings, but, for this one, I want to give more of a sense of action. So I borrowed a modern technique from photography and cinematography called a Dutch tilt where I turned the scene on an angle to give a se...
About Daniel Eskridge
Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
