Finally, finally, finally. I have been wanting to get this image for so long now. This place has so many good memories for me. High school summers with friends and family, packing up the car with coolers and beach umbrellas, spending hours exploring, swimming, boogie boarding, skim boarding, checking out girls in their bikinis, playing catch, getting caught by the rising tide. The coolest place was always Fox Island, pictured here. Climbing around bare footed could be a bit of pain, but when you're a teenager you feel tough and the rocks are just so cool up here, plus, the view! What a view! I almost got stranded making this image last night. You can see the little sliver of sand that connects to the beach about to be swallowed up by the tide. I made it back with only minimal wading after making this image.
