I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
The sailboat Poseidon was photographed on a clear day on the waters of the Potomac River and the Coan River in Virginia, near the Chesapeake Bay. The Poseidon was used to take the osprey pictures while on a trip from Deltaville to Lewisetta. Erik used his Nikon D80 and 18-200 lens, and Photoshop CS2 to correct color and contrast.
About Erik Berglund
Erik Berglund started taking photographs in 1987 while in the US Navy. After his discharge, he was busy going to school, and could not afford the cost of processing. In 2006, he was able to buy a Nikon D50, and in early 2007 upgraded to the Nikon D80. With the cost of taking a picture now free, tens of thousands of photographs have been taken. Erik prefers to use Photoshop as little as possible, and most of his pictures have no editing done. His interests are wide and varied; from natural scenery, wildlife, and architecture, he is willing to take a good photo anywhere.
