I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

"Pray For Change" is a painting of "hopefully our future President, Barack Obama . I used acrylic gels to make his clothes, watch and hair lift off the canvas, a painting you can FEEL. This painting was originally completed on 8/08 in hopes of entering in the online art contest for the Democratic Convention. The bad news is due to computer problems, I missed the deadline to enter the contest. The good news is the painting is available for you to FEEL. Please contact me if you are interested . Thanks

Hello World!!!! I am currently in St. Paul, Minnesota but I'm originally from Oakland, CA. What inspires me is the love of people and appreciation for our differences. I like to think that I make my portraits come alive by adding the different acrylic gel mediums. There are many portrait artist out there but what sets me apart from them is you can feel my portraits..... the hair, clothes, jewelry, background, etc. I also like to use metallic colors to give the paintings and warm glow. I have always enjoyed drawing...I remember falling in love with art when my 3rd grade teacher "Mrs. Dasie R.I.P." featured my art work in the Thanksgiving play for the whole school to see. I got so many compliments, I felt so good. It helped this shy...
