The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This still life watercolor painting arouses our sense of smell. The open window welcomes the fresh autumn aromas into the farmhouse. The tangle of bittersweet vine has lost its leaves - only clusters of red and orange berries remain. The sweet smell of fallen leaves is evident as the gentle flutter of the lace curtain announces the arrival of a red maple leaf that has floated in on the breeze and landed next to the mason jar of home-made pear preserves. The sweet cooking smells that linger after canning peaches, pears and plum jam are inviting. One special jar has been carefully and lovingly decorated with ribbon and lace doily - a gift from the heart for a special friend.
