I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Based on the life of Nostradamus, this piece evokes contrasting images of fire and flood, day and night, sun and moon in the outer panels. The inner square contains an astrological wheel, along with symbols of the life of Nostradamus, from his beginnings on his family farm, to his work as an apothecary, and his fear of persecution by the Catholic church due to his astrological prophecies.
About Mary J Winters-Meyer
I've always been fascinated by mythology & fairy tales, which grew into a love of all things fantastical, including science fiction. I�m also fascinated by the gorgeous, intricate sand mandalas created by Tibetan monks, only to brush them away and start over again the next day. I also love kaleidoscopes, fractals, geometry, spirals, and nature. In 2013, I started working with colored pencils. One day, while relaxing with an adult coloring book that had a space theme, it suddenly occurred to me to take my love of mythology, science fiction, fantasy, and gaming and combine it with my love of geometric patterns with intricate detail and colors - and Tangitude Artworks was born.
