This drawing named "The Pyramid" was done a few years back. It was the first of a series of pieces I did where I experimented with vibrant colors and fine detail. I believe most of the inspiration for this drawing came after watching the Yellow Submarine with its wacky characters, strange lands and its colorful... Everything! I just applied new techniques to my already nonsensical unique style and this was the result. I wanted to have the first drawing of the set be the brightest with different tones of orange and yellow and its shades of bright green, to give it a feeling of warmth and vibrance. This piece of original art is printed on 11 by 17 inch glossy photo paper with a 3/4 inch white border on the sides and 1 1/2 inch on the top and bottom. There are only 50 copies of this piece of art that I am selling. This drawing was originally done with Prisma Color pen and ink.

Hello, Thank you for taking an interest in my art. The name Silver Tree comes from the translation of my maiden Norwegian last name Sylliaasen. I am a 25 year old born and raised in Washington state. I love to draw, paint, do many crafts, take photos, and play guitar, mandolin and hand drums. I technically started drawing when I was 2 years old with crayons on my parents walls, but that doesn't really count. I have been drawing since the 3rd grade starting with cartoons. I was enrolled in an art class every year from 7th grade to my senior year of high school, which I believe was not allowed for some academic reason but I slipped through the cracks and went through 6 years of art. I produced my first marketable peice of art in highschool....
