Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

My art education was largely informal, and began on my twelfth birthday when I was given a monograph book chronicling the life of Vincent Van Gogh; in later years, I would study under the tutelage of renowned artists Taylor Oughton and Vernon Wood. Wow Joe, we're talking colors! I just love the red shadows on the bear! Warm colors on something that you usually combine with something, or somewhere cold! Are these new paintings that you have posted you're newest work? By the way thank's for your comment on "The King II", and happy birthday (march 5 wasn't it?). Also I saw about the Exhibition in April. Man, I really wish I could be there! :-)
