Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Artist's Description
A trio of showy, red orange, exotic and extravagant amaryllis blossoms make a dramatic statement against a green, natural, outdoors background.
These bright, vivid trumpet shaped beauties were photographed in Tallahassee,Florida.
These striking, gorgeous flowers grew from pre-planted bulbs in a small plastic pot which were given to me by a thoughtful neighbor one Christmas. Once the plant broke through the soil, its growth was surprisingly rapid. It seemed to change overnight. I am sure we mentioned its similarity to Jack and the beanstalk on more than one occasion.
This is a square format image in a complementary color scheme of red and green. The red is a fire engine orangeish red, and the greens of the background vegetation have a bit of a bluish cast.
This macro image shows the pistil and stamen, as well as the velvety petals, of these striking blooms. The little white bit at the end of the pistil is heart-shaped, as this close image shows, and the...
About Carla Parris
My love of photography grew out of capturing images from my travels, so photographs of beautiful and interesting places comprise a large portion of my portfolio. I am a Southern girl, and love the beauty that is in my back yard, so there are also lots of images from close to home. These include images of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches, which I visit any time I can! I also enjoy capturing images of interesting flora and fauna, and wildlife images I am able to capture with my newest telephoto lens! I am a painter, as well as a photographer, and offer galleries of paintings and mixed media pieces. My interest in traditional art has spilled over to my post processing of photographs, and in addition to images with minimal post...
