This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Robert FitzRoy (1805-1865). Caricature of the British meteorologist and Royal Navy vice-admiral, Robert FitzRoy, showing him with a large nose and ears. FitzRoy is best known for captaining the HMS Beagle during its famous voyage on which Charles Darwin was a passenger. FitzRoy did a great deal of scientific work himself, in geographical surveying, navigation, astronomy and chronometric measurement. After serving as Governor of New Zealand from 1843-5, he developed an interest in meteorology and pioneered accurate weather-forecasting. His methods were controversial among his peers, and the challenges of establishing a weather service led to his depression and eventual suicide.
