My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description
This image is a single long-exposure photograph taken in the dark. The 'brush' is the image of a piece of Pietersite, projected by an iPhone.
All lightpaintings have been converted from raw files to printable jpg using the Nikon Camera Raw Lightroom Plugin, adjusting only the typical photographic settings such as white balance, exposure and sharpness, and may have been cropped. Color backgrounds are made by projecting light onto a canvas, then removing the canvas for the rest of the exposure.

3/7/2015 Dear Mr. Markman: I am in the process of putting together a block of six paintings for each member of Ideart. I have looked at all your images, & here is my recommendation. Top Row of three paintings: 1. Rock Lightpaintings - Pietersite, 2. Rock Lightpaintings - Rainbow Fluorite I - 1 of 4, & 3. Rock Lightpaintings - African Queen Picture Jasper. Bottom Row of three paintings: 4. Chickadee on Canvas Blue Jay on Green, 5. Chickadee on Canvas The Interloper, & 6. Chickadee on Canvas Blue Jay on Orange. I feel there is some consistency & a pattern in each row as well as the same qualities in the overall block of six images. What do you think? If you agree with my proposal, please upload the pictures I have listed if they are not already uploaded. Thank you very much. Al Fresko.
