Thank you, Jo! :)

very pretty

LOL!......Thank you, Leonardo! :)

Thank God I'm not color blind!!! It's a journey in Dante's Inferno. . . then to Purgatory, and finally heaven. BEAUTIFUL.

Thanks, Pit for your wonderful comments on Romantic Moment!

superb work with a fitting title Natalie

Thank you, Maneesh and Julie!

Fantastic Natalie!!!

Great NaT....Holla..................

hi, Natalie. I think this is my favorite of this particular collection of yours. the gesture and slight turn of head are very cool

Super !!!

Round and cherubic serenely nestled in the red heat of romance. What a great conception! But, I'm with Bruce; don't you ever sleep? You do such pleasing work, and so much of it! By the way, thanks for your appreciative comment on my "Grand Canal at Sunset." I'm thinking of posting the original, un-artsified (if there's such a word) photo as some may prefer more realism.

Hi, Natalie Your work is very subtle; Beautiful colors and sense of story. I love it !

Magnificent Natalie! Elegant and Wonderfully rendered. . ......Joe

Hi Natalie, what a lovely piece! The sumptuous use of reds and fluid lines indeed evoke a self indulgent mood which appeals to the inner hedonistic in me. Well done!!

mmmmmmm:)

Fabulous Natalie!

Hi Nat ~ I do feel this is one of the best pieces (of your new work). I really love your use of the color of red. Everything about this is wonderful, right down to her pose and the expression on her face. As always, I really like how you do the hair! :) It would be nice to sit down and share in some great conversation together over a cup of coffee. I'm glad you enjoyed my coffee cups painting. :)

I can't add much to Bruce's perfect comment again. It's a gorgeous image, I love the pose! I think it's one of your best pieces in your wonderful gallery, Natalie.

Hi, again, Natalie, You have certainly been putting a lot of bright red to good use lately. You use it SO WELL! And what a pleasant nude, even if she has no feet. But I'm not one of those people who care all that much about feet. And your trademark, I think, for awhile now, all that wavy waving hair, usually almost blending into the background, but not quite. Here, now, for instance, she's backed by just a bit of yellow punctuating with some black and a little pink that mainly brilliant red background -- shimmering, I think, because of the bits of yellow. But, hey, how often does anybody get away with about two thirds of the upper right background empty? Just non-discernable patterns of color! Very predominately VERY intense red! Sort of like a burning radiant red bush. Not even a sky with clouds, no trees, or anything else real? And you do that sort of background that plays with the main figure, especially with all the hair, of a simply presented but very pretty woman more often than not! And, again, SO WELL! And then the slight variation of the bottom -- not the lady's, but her couch, as it were (or is), a plain relatively passive, even sullen red and black, the duller red ressembling leaves fallen from the sort of bushy background above. And before all this radiance, the lady's relaxed body -- I think her eyes are closed, oblivious, at least -- so simply drawn -- no lines but shadow. So much more plain flesh color than shade or shadow. Almost the work of a flash camera. A couple glossy red leaves fallen on a thigh. Really, this is HOT! And cool. And such a contrast. A sudden dazzling burst of sheer beautiful delight that holds me awesomely. Now, speechless, for a long long time.

About Natalie Holland

Natalie Holland

'I don't conform to any style or genre. I'm free as a bird and fly where I please. My creativity would suffer, if I only flew in one direction. Free, free, free is my motto.' ~ Natalie Holland. Being an artist is a great adventure. I love to paint and experiment in different mediums because each offers a unique quality. Self-expression is very important to me regardless of medium. I often break rules and don't confine myself in any type or technique. If I were to restrict myself to any one type, subject or technique I would kill the creative fire that motivates me. One of my favorite quotes is by Wassily Kandinsky ~ 'There is no must in Art because Art is free.' Thank you for visiting my site. All artwork is the original work of...
