My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. A walk down memory Lane . Roosevelt High School - Scranton - Carbondale PA . Roosevelt school, now an abandoned building in Carbondale PA . Lackawanna County Pennsylvania .
The architecture, stone block and brick work still stand strong , as do the memories of school days long ago.
Still a striking presence when you drive down Salem Ave , "progress" they say, as they allow the integrity of the beautiful architecture to fall into demise.

If you ask the kids playing jump rope and hopscotch on the sidewalks - "it's haunted", they say.
I could imagine the sounds of children's voices echoing down the hallways, as the bells rings out to signify " It's the end of the day ".
In the Pocono Mountain region of North East Pennsylvania.
But seriously, isn't there a memory from long ago of a " Roosevelt High School " everywhere ?
