Love the painting and the rich colorful blues, reds, greens, & yellows! A nice addition to our cowboy/southwest decor vibe.

Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Artist's Description
Uyuni in SW Bolivia was founded in 1890 as a railway junction and used to be a major railroad centre in its heyday. Those days have long since passed though trains still pass through. The steam trains started to be replaced by diesels in 1958, just outside the village dozens of steam engines coaches and wagons lie rusting in the old railway yards as a reminder of days gone by.

What a fascinating picture ! This must an incredible place to see, makes you think what became of the men who worked on these locomotives.
James Brunker replied:
Thank you David! Yes, it is a pretty amazing place in the middle of the desert. There are quite a few similar train cemeteries dotted about Bolivia, though this one is the best known.
