Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Layers and layers of rusted rust on the bottom portion of this old hitch, a real relic I found laying on the ground. This antiquated hitch was out at the old Koloa Mill, so I collected it to take its place among my old relics. As it looks here, it's just some rusted metal. The image of the whole hitch is also posted. Rust has a beauty all its own. Photographing a rusted object at just the right moment makes for some interesting, if not abstract photography. The basic soil components of all these Hawaiian Islands is iron oxide. Our soil is red. It�s the same as rust. When an object rusts and turns red and decays, it is basically returning to its original component, iron oxide. Other forms of rust are green, which is caused by the interest of iron and chloride. But in no way is rust confined to these Islands. It happens all over the world. Rust is formed by an interaction of iron and oxygen along with moisture in the air.
