The Mission San Jose was considered the "Queen of the Missions". Founded in 1720, it is the largest of the San Antonio Missions. This photo of the interior of the mission's mill had a texture applied to enhance its Old World look. The Mission is part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.

I was born and raised in the Metropolitan New York City area of New Jersey but have lived in Arizona for forty years. After retiring from high school counseling and teaching, I discovered the joy of photography and digital art. Although I strive to get the shot right in the camera, I enjoy the artistic and creative aspects of working with image editing programs.
