Artist's Description
Above the Strait of Juan de Fuca in the Northwest corner of Washington State are the Olympic Mountains. On a clear day, the strait and the Dungeness Spit are visible, but on most days, the beautiful Pacific Northwest offers hazy skies and abundant vegetation. This square format landscape oil painting was inspired by the hope of a distant glimpse of the sights below. It is from my recent series of paintings inspired by the sights discovered on the Olympic Peninsula. It was created with oil paints on canvas.
I have been selling originals and reproductions of my work online since 2007. People all over the world have purchased my art and it is wonderful to connect with so many.
