I believe this is a 1968 model. A brief history of the Shelby Cobra:
For 1967, the GT 350 carried over the K-Code high performance 289 with a 'COBRA' aluminum hi-rise. The GT 500 was added to the lineup, equipped with the 428 Police Interceptor. These later cars carried over few of the performance modifications of the 1965�66 GT350s, although they did feature more cosmetic changes.

In September 1967, production was moved to the A.O. Smith Company of Ionia, Michigan, under Ford control. Shelby American had substantially less involvement after this time.

The popularity of the second film of Gone in 60 Seconds with the 1967 GT 500 revived the popularity of "Eleanor." According to the studio, a total of eleven 1967 Ford Mustang fastback from Gone in 60 Seconds and only three made it thru filming unscathed. I've never really thought of myself as an "Artist", and after my first visit to this site, and having seen some of the many outstanding works offered here, I'm even less inclined to do so. I consider myself a student of art. I'm self taught in disciplines including photography, painting, wood carving (ugh!) and recently digital media.
