This is an image of the majestic South Falls at Silver Falls State Park near Silverton Oregon.
The two people you see next to the falls are my good friends from Washington State. I invited them to come experience the beauty that Silver Creek State Falls has to offer. They came away very impressed. :-)
This is the tallest of the waterfalls in the park with a total drop of 177ft to the splash pool.

This reminds me of an old Viewmaster shot; powerful image with a close in subject to exaggerate the effect of 3-D. I actually still shoot Viewmaster and met one of the original photographers who shot for them for years. He would have loved this Viewmaster was out of Portland Oregon so it is fitting we mention them in our group. This is the closest I've seen a "flat" picture look 3-D in a long time. Way voted
