This is an infrared image taken in the 830 nm spectrum. This is also known as deep black as it on takes images in black and white. This image has been processed to add the gold tints. I thought it added a bit of drama and beauty to the subject. These are shrimpers on Harker's Island on the Crystal Coast in North Carolina.

I became interested in photography as a youngster. I remember taking my mom's brownie on field trips when I was in the 5th grade. I received my first camera for Christmas, a polaroid! As an adult I used a Yashica film 35 mm camera. I now strictly shoot digital. I love nature photography, landscapes, wildlife. I love color! I also shoot infrared with a converted Canon RP using various external filters on full spectrum converted camera. I also shoot with Fuji converted cameras as well The world is a beautiful place if you take the time and really look. I do that through the lens of my camera.
