A single tulip...all alone. Not really. This beautiful tulip (I use my imagination, and think it may be pink) was at the back of a large grouping at the Chicago Botanic Garden. In the shade at the time of this photo, it will undoubtedly show it's real beauty as the afternoon arrives, and it soaks up the rays of the sun.
About Greg Thiemeyer
I'm a retired special education teacher currently living in Southwest Michigan, although the majority of my life was spent in the Chicagoland area. Now I spend about half the year (during the Winters, especially) in Southwest Florida. I have enjoyed photography since I was a teenager, and got my first SLR camera at age 20. I spend most of my time taking photos of plants, animal life, and landscapes (especially sunsets) that surround me. Taking trips always offer new and additional opportunities, and these vacations are always a way of increasing my photographic experiences.
