The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This watercolor painting of Sister Bay in Door County, Wisconsin was created from an old photo that I took many years ago while visiting the peninsula. We were staying in the area of this harbor and stopped there just as the sun was setting, leaving such a bright orange streak in the sky just above the waterline of Lake Michigan. All the sailboats lined up along the dock in the marina with just a few people strolling along the boardwalk created a perfect scene for a watercolor painting. I am glad I finally found the photo again!
