Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Philip Lee
A native New Yorker, Phil Lee is an accomplished painter and illustrator. Phil began to show a serious interest in artwork when he was only eight years old, sparked by watching his father, Robert Lee, work on oil paintings. Phil began by dabbling in oil painting and pencil drawings. He entered his first art show at the young age of thirteen and won first place for an oil painting of border collies. Today, Phil enjoys creating oil paintings and pen and ink, as well as well as pencil, drawings. Oil is his favorite medium, and he receives greatest satisfaction from painting ships and sea scenes.
