The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description

One of the most recognizable fighter units of World War II was the 353rd Fighter Grop of the famed US 8th Air Force. Distinguished by their unique black and yellow checkered nosed color scheme their P-51 mounts became a well known sight in the skies over Europe. This unique print features a "Slybird" in action catching a German ME-109 off guard.
