Lovely softness of a purple and white Bearded Iris flower photography art design for your home or office decor.
Bearded Iris is a beautiful and eye-catching plant of genus Iris of the Iridaceae family, which consists of over 300 colorful species of iris plants and flowers. They are hardy perennials grown from rhizomes and bloom in the early Summer to late Fall, but a few varieties will start blooming in March. It is a much loved, and easy to grow flowering plant and a favorite among many garden enthusiasts. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, which is also the name for the Greek goddess of the rainbow, Iris.
