Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

Artist's Description
Washington Square Park has its origins in 1817, when one of the first settlers and land owners in Rochesterville (old Rochester), Elisha Johnson, set aside some of his land to form the town’s first park. It has always been, from the very beginning, a place for public gatherings with Frederick Douglass as a frequent orator. Today, the surrounding area is called the Washington Square Neighborhood.
A monument was erected in 1892 called the "Soldiers and Sailors" Monument. Created in bronze, it is a tribute to those who died during the Civil War. It has a statue of Abraham Lincoln at its center.
Xerox Tower and Frontier Corp buildings can be seen in the background.
