I just now saw that you commented and I had a picture featured in Book Covers. I have been so busy with work and my son's wedding I had not been on the site in a long time. I am sorry for having been so rude and not acknowledging your comment. Thank you very much.

About Pam Fries

Pam Fries

Although, what ability I have is God given and I have had no formal training, I was born into an artistic family. My mother and father were very artistic and creative people. Any training I have had was growing up with the guidance of these talented people. My first memory of being guided I was not more than 3. My father came into my room where I was coloring and he tried to get me to color in small circles instead of my preschool scribbling! Next memory was with my mom when I was about 7. The lesson was that of shading and drawing a tree as it really looks. It was that lesson that really opened my eyes to drawing and gave me the desire to draw with depth. I continued to draw through out my growing up but never really did much...
