Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Appliance Portraits started as a way to resolve my frustration over who did the dishes and what my role as a wife was to be. These machines represent a woman's freedom from her chores but also reinforce her domesticity. This is an egg cooker that was my grandmother's, which my mother still occasionally uses. She let me borrow it to paint this piece.
Jennie Traill Schaeffer is a painter and teaching artist holding a BFA in painting and art education from Syracuse University. Schaeffer has an extensive exhibition history with both traditional and online galleries, and in 2012 earned her first acceptance into a show at the Noyes Museum. Her works have earned her publication by the New York Times, The Village Voice, OurHouse Magazine, NJSavvy Living, Sussex Journal, JerseyArts.com, and a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Scholarship.
