This is a photograph of Columbia SC's central business district looking up a tree-lined Main Street from the steps of the South Carolina state capitol, with a statue of George Washington in the foreground and palmetto trees framing the public square.
About Matt Woolsey
Matt Woolsey is a native of South Carolina's Midlands region. After living in Columbia for 31 years, he relocated to Charleston in July, 2015. His specialty is shooting urban and nature scenes. Other favorite subjects include flowers, trees, dogs, events, and whatever catches his eye in general. He also enjoys making photographs of people in their favorite settings. Matt is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of art degree in English. He also attended Midlands Technical College and earned a Certificate of Professional Photography.
