Perfect. My dining room is styled in Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau, and this is a magnificent example of the transition period. Excellent print and high quality matting and framing.

Package was pretty beat up upon arrival. I can send a separate photo if you’d like to see it? 5 star on the actual picture. 1 star on shipping.

Artist's Description
Most of my digitally altered photographs are political, cultural or social statements. This was the view (in 2007) across the river from where I live. If you look carefuly at the river near the shore, on the right side, you will see a bit of the windfarm existing at that time. Now that whole area is covered in windmills!
The reflection of the clouds in the water reflects a blue sky with clouds and not the storm over the land symbolizing the good times floating down the river. The storm on the land is approaching.
This windmill farm shows up on the radar map and may hinder navigation for airplanes - Travis Air Force base is close-by! Many birds who die from the rotating blades that create a vortex that sucks them in if they get too close.
Green energy is not very green when it kills animals and is not located close to the consumers that use it. Energy farms like this that feed the grid first before the consumer's nearby creates a larger carbon footpr...
About Afroditi Katsikis
My primary medium is photography and lately have concentrated on nature and the environment as my major subjects. Before transferring to ASU, I studied with Leslie Krimms, Paul Diamond at Buffalo State College - back in the days when there were no digital cameras and we shot and processed black and white film and printed it! Somehow I wrangled my way into a 'day' job that eventually led me away from my art and or pursuing a career as an artist or photographer...
